Longtime band Kansas is set to perform at the Peoria Civic Center Theater later this year.

Known for songs like “Carry On Wayward Son,” the band will perform in Peoria on Nov. 8 as part of its “Another Fork in the Road” 50th anniversary tour. This is the third leg of the band’s tour, which began in 2023.

Tickets will become available to the public on Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. Customers can purchase tickets from the Toyota Box Office or Ticketmaster.

Guitarist Richard Williams described the tour as "incredibly special for the band.” Ronnie Platt, the band’s lead vocalist, called the energy from audience members "exhilarating.”

“Let me tell you, after a decade of performing in the band, the energy the fans bring each night continues to give me goosebumps,” Platt said. “Fans in attendance seem to continue to raise their energy level and that just makes it even more fun for us up on stage than it already is!”
